Terms of Attendance and Participation
Welcome to the Canada FinTech Symposium 2025 and the co-located Web3, Blockchain, and Data Hub Summit, organized by ProLink Events Ltd. By attending and participating in these events, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:
1. Key Responsibilities:
- Registration: Delegates must register for the events through the official registration process. The registration fee, if applicable, must be paid in accordance with the event's registration policy.
2. Event Access:
- Credentials: Only registered delegates with valid event badges or credentials will be granted access to the Canada FinTech Symposium 2025 sessions, activities, and materials, as well as those of the Web3, Blockchain, and Data Hub Summit.
3. Delegate Conduct:
- Professionalism: All delegates are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully throughout both events. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event premises.
4. Event Materials:
- Usage: Any materials provided at the events, including presentations, documents, and handouts, are for personal use only. Reproduction, distribution, or sharing of these materials without permission from the event organizers is prohibited.
5. Photography and Recording:
- Consent: Photography, audio recording, and video recording are allowed during the events for personal use only. Delegates must obtain explicit consent from speakers or organizers before capturing any content for commercial purposes.
6. Speaker Content:
- Views: The views expressed by event speakers are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of ProLink Events Ltd or its partners.
7. Event Changes:
- Modifications: ProLink Events Ltd reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, speakers, content, or format without prior notice.
8. Cancellation and Refunds:
- Policies: Cancellation and refund policies, if applicable, are outlined in the event registration terms and conditions. Delegates are encouraged to review these policies carefully.
9. Force Majeure:
- Unforeseen Events: In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, government regulations, or other force majeure events, ProLink Events Ltd reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify the events. The organizer will make reasonable efforts to notify registered delegates and provide alternative arrangements, such as credit for future events.
10. Privacy and Data Collection:
- Consent: ProLink Events Ltd may collect and process personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Delegates consent to the collection, use, and processing of their personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Networking and Interaction:
- Engagement: Delegates are encouraged to engage in networking and interaction opportunities provided during both events. Any personal data shared during networking activities should be done with consideration for privacy and data protection.
12. Contact Information:
- Updates: ProLink Events Ltd may contact delegates via the contact information provided during registration for event-related updates and communications.
13. Governing Law:
- Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or participation in the events will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Alberta.
By attending and participating in the Canada FinTech Symposium 2025 and the co-located Web3, Blockchain, and Data Hub Summit, delegates agree to abide by these terms and conditions. ProLink Events Ltd reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time without prior notice. Delegates are encouraged to review these terms periodically for any changes.
